Derby Sees Your Vehicle Long Before It Finds Your Website

Derby is a commuter town, and that is exactly what makes it a strong market for vehicle wraps. Every weekday morning thousands of vehicles funnel north out of Derby along K-15 and Rock Road toward Wichita, McConnell Air Force Base, and the industrial corridors on the south side of town. Every afternoon they come back. A wrapped work truck sitting in that traffic gets read by the same drivers over and over, and that repetition is what makes local advertising actually stick.

Derby has grown to roughly 25,600 residents while keeping a small town referral culture. People here still ask their neighbors who did the new roof, who fixed the sprinklers, who poured the patio. When your van is parked in a Derby driveway for two days, the entire street sees it. That is the cheapest impression you will ever buy, and it keeps working every day for years with no monthly ad spend.

We handle Derby work out of our shop at 700 N Market in Wichita, a short drive up K-15. You drop the vehicle off, we design, print, and install everything in house, and you pick it up ready to go back to work.

What Actually Works for Derby Businesses

Not every Derby business needs a full wrap. We spec the coverage around the vehicle, the budget, and how that vehicle really gets used during the week.

Full Wraps for the Trades

HVAC, plumbing, roofing, concrete, and lawn crews working the Rock Road and Madison Avenue corridors get the most out of full coverage. The whole vehicle becomes the advertisement, from any angle, in any lane.

Partial Wraps That Stretch a Budget

A partial wrap across the rear and lower panels still carries your name, your number, and your offer for a fraction of a full wrap. It is the most common first step for a newer Derby business putting its first vehicle on the road.

Fleet Graphics That Match

Whether you run two trucks or twelve, we build one layout and repeat it cleanly across every unit so the fleet reads as one company instead of a collection of mismatched vehicles.

Built for K-15 Highway Miles

Derby vehicles rack up commuter miles. We use cast vinyl with proper edge sealing so the wrap holds up to the daily drive, the car wash, and a Kansas summer in full sun.

Color Change Wraps for Drivers

Not every Derby wrap is for a business. We do full color change wraps on personal vehicles too, with satin, matte, gloss, and chrome delete options, and none of it touches your factory paint.

Vehicle Wrap Questions From Derby Customers

Do you come to Derby, or do I bring the vehicle to you?

Installation happens at our Wichita shop at 700 N Market, because a wrap that lasts needs a clean, dust free, temperature controlled bay. It is a short drive up K-15 from anywhere in Derby. For fleets we coordinate staggered drop offs so you are never down more than one vehicle at a time.

A typical full wrap is two to three days in the shop once you approve the design. Partial wraps and decal packages usually move faster than a full wrap. Design comes first and usually takes a few days, depending on how quickly we get your logo files and your feedback on the proof.

It depends on the size of the vehicle, how much of it you want covered, and how complex the artwork is. A partial wrap on a small cargo van lands well under a full wrap on a box truck. Every vehicle gets quoted individually and in writing, for free, and the number we quote is the number you pay. Call (316) 665-1019 and we can get you close over the phone.

Not when it is installed and removed correctly. A properly installed cast film protects the paint from sun and highway grit. Paint problems come from cheap vinyl, poor prep, or careless removal, which is exactly why we keep every install and removal in house instead of farming it out.

Five to seven years is realistic for a quality wrap on a daily driver, and we have seen longer on vehicles that are garaged or hand washed. Sun exposure is the biggest factor, so horizontal surfaces like the hood and roof always show age first.

Yes. We remove the old vinyl, clean and correct the surface, and start fresh. Old lettering and faded wraps come off all the time. If the previous install damaged the clear coat we will tell you what we see before we quote the new wrap.
